Ayrshire is home to numerous well run fisheries offering good sport all year round, with Brown Trout, Rainbows, Steelheads and for visiting coarse fishers, Carp, Roach and Tench.

Also to be found in this south west county of Scotland are some real quality, low-priced salmon fishing in rivers such as the Doon, Stinchar and Ayr. Arran provides some first-rate spate river fishing potential.
